Dr. Jesus Avalos is an aspiring chiropractor, recently graduated with honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he cultivated his passion for holistic healthcare and academic excellence. Prior to this accomplishment Dr. Avalos completed his undergraduate degree at California State University of Northridge. As a Mexican American, Dr. Avalos' cultural background deeply influenced his approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of family, community, and inclusive healing practices. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is committed to ensuring language and cultural barriers do not hinder the patient’s access to quality healthcare.
Dr. Avalos firmly believes in a comprehensive treatment approach, incorporating soft tissue techniques, modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and adjustments to optimize patient outcomes. He recognizes that each individual’s journey to wellness is unique and tailors his treatment plans accordingly, striving to address the root cause of the problem. With a passion for sports such as soccer, water polo, swimming and basketball. Dr. Avalos has also carved out a niche in helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals and overcome their injuries.
Prior to working at Genesis, Dr. Avalos began as an intern at a multidisciplinary facility, where he was exposed to a variety of disciplines and gained a comprehensive understanding of integrated patient care. After completing his internship at the multidisciplinary facility, Dr. Avalos interned at Genesis Chiropractic where he gained valuable insight in the chiropractic field and learned various ways to treat with the help of Dr. Karo. Upon graduation, Dr. Avalos felt compelled to return to the facility where he interned, recognizing it as an ideal setting to begin his chiropractic career. The supportive staff and the integrative approach to patient care resonated deeply with him at Genesis.
Katrina is the Office Manager, she has worked in the Chiropractic field for about 5 years. She has experienced firsthand the powerful health benefits that Chiropractic care can provide and continues to be excited to be in a profession that yields such a profound effect on patient’s well being and quality of life. Katrina is responsible for the operations and administration side of a medical office. She ensures the office is running smoothly by supervising office staff, training employees, and overseeing the billing portion of the office.
Emilia is the front office receptionist and has worked in the chiropractic field for about a year. Serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts. Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answering or referring inquiries. Emilia also helps patients in distress by responding to emergencies.
