Dr. Karo Ter-Nersesyan, also known as the 'Karopractor', is committed to more than just relieving patients' pain, but also educating patients on natural wellness solutions for a lifetime of optimal health. Dr. Karo's passion for chiropractic and sincere concern for others motivates him to excel in his work with patients as well as in the community. Fluent in both English and Armenian, he is committed to ensuring language and cultural barriers do not hinder the patient’s access to quality healthcare. 

He completed his undergraduate studies from Cleveland Chiropractic College and his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier. While working towards his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, he participated in several seminars, workshops and conferences and volunteered his time nationwide to further his understanding of healing the human body.  

Dr. Karo has experience working in a multi-disciplinary doctors' office, treating patients with a wide array of health problems. By utilizing a combination of diagnostic strategies, treatment protocols and adjusting techniques to achieve optimal results, he has had immense success in all aspects of patient care. He specializes in complaints of the shoulder, neck, low back, sciatica and carpel tunnel pain.

Dr. Jesus Avalos is an aspiring chiropractor, recently graduated with honors from Southern California University of Health Sciences, where he cultivated his passion for holistic healthcare and academic excellence. Prior to this accomplishment Dr. Avalos completed his undergraduate degree at California State University of Northridge. As a Mexican American, Dr. Avalos' cultural background deeply influenced his approach to healthcare, emphasizing the importance of family, community, and inclusive healing practices. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is committed to ensuring language and cultural barriers do not hinder the patient’s access to quality healthcare. 

Dr. Avalos firmly believes in a comprehensive treatment approach, incorporating soft tissue techniques, modalities, rehabilitative exercises, and adjustments to optimize patient outcomes. He recognizes that each individual’s journey to wellness is unique and tailors his treatment plans accordingly, striving to address the root cause of the problem. With a passion for sports such as soccer, water polo, swimming and basketball. Dr. Avalos has also carved out a niche in helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals and overcome their injuries.  

Prior to working at Genesis, Dr. Avalos began as an intern at a multidisciplinary facility, where he was exposed to a variety of disciplines and gained a comprehensive understanding of integrated patient care. After completing his internship at the multidisciplinary facility, Dr. Avalos interned at Genesis Chiropractic where he gained valuable insight in the chiropractic field and learned various ways to treat with the help of Dr. Karo. Upon graduation, Dr. Avalos felt compelled to return to the facility where he interned, recognizing it as an ideal setting to begin his chiropractic career. The supportive staff and the integrative approach to patient care resonated deeply with him at Genesis.

With over four years of experience as a Chiropractic Assistant, Hayk is a dedicated and reliable member of our team. He plays a key role in supporting both patients and providers, ensuring each visit is smooth, efficient, and patient-focused.

Hayk assists with daily clinical procedures, guides patients through their treatment plans, and helps maintain a professional and welcoming environment throughout the office. His strong communication skills and commitment to quality care make him a trusted and valued part of the practice. Fluent in English, Russian, and Armenian, he is committed to ensuring language and cultural barriers do not hinder the patient’s access to quality healthcare. 

Focused, compassionate, and experienced, Hayk is committed to helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their care journey.

With over six years of experience in chiropractic office administration, Katrina brings strong leadership and operational expertise to her role as Office Manager. She oversees the day-to-day functions of the practice, serving as a key point of coordination for both staff and patients.

As a team leader, Katrina ensures efficient workflow, supports staff training, and upholds a high standard of service across all areas of the office. She is also responsible for managing and requesting records.

Her attention to detail and commitment to patient care help create a smooth and supportive environment for the entire practice

With a passion for wellness and movement, Arpi plays a key role in ensuring a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sports Studies from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2020, building a strong foundation in human performance and physical health.

Continuing her commitment to patient-centered care, she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2024, specializing in Sports Medicine. Her educational background and clinical training allow her to bridge the gap between exceptional chiropractic care and compassionate patient support.

Whether she’s assisting with treatments or answering questions about care plans, Arpi brings energy, empathy, and expert knowledge to help patients feel informed, supported, and empowered on their wellness journey.

With nearly five years of experience Emilia is the welcoming face at our chiropractic office. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through the door. She expertly manages phone calls, schedules appointments, and maintains accurate patient records, all while keeping our day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Emilia is also the creative force behind our social media presence. She plans content, films, and edits engaging videos that highlight our services, share wellness tips, and give patients a behind-the-scenes look at life in the office. Her work helps build a strong connection with our online community and reflects the warm, professional atmosphere of our practice.
